Third-Party Access and Data Residency

Modified on Sat, 13 Sep at 4:12 PM

When installing Dryad Receipting for Salesforce, following third-party access is required

  1. api.dryadreceipting.com
  2. dryadstorage.aws.com

The first site provides functionality to merge .pdf files. It also verifies you have the proper license to access the merge functionality. Reminder: Only the Premium version of Dryad Receipting for Salesforce offers this feature.

The second site temporarily stores the merged .pdf in Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). Files are immediately deleted after they are downloaded into Salesforce. This means files only available on the server for several seconds.

For these features, only a basic activity log is recorded. The log stores

  • The number of files being merged
  • The current date/time
  • The Salesforce Organization Id

This log allows us to determine how often and how many .pdfs are being merged. This ensures we continue to provide the best possible service.

Additional information about your data privacy is found in the Terms of Use.

Data Residency

All merged .pdfs are temporarily stored on a Canadian server in an Amazon S3 bucket. Once they are downloaded to your Salesforce instance, they are immediately deleted.

In the context of Dryad Receipting for Salesforce, your data never leaves Canada.
